About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Staff Accountant
looking to take the next step in their accounting career. Ideal candidates will have internship or early professional accounting experience, a solid academic foundation, and a strong desire to learn and grow within a supportive finance team. This position offers hands‑on exposure to core accounting functions and opportunities for long‑term development.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily accounting tasks, including preparing journal entries and maintaining the general ledger.
Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for internal and external use.
Monitor financial transactions and maintain organized, accurate records in accordance with company policies and GAAP.
Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests as needed.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or potential improvements.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
(required) .
Internship experience or
1+ year of professional accounting experience .
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility.
