Key Responsibilities
Analyze production costs, variances, and provide insights for cost control and efficiency improvements.
Prepare detailed financial reports, performance dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing operations.
Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for manufacturing plants and operational expenditures.
Conduct profitability analysis for product lines, manufacturing processes, and customer segments.
Evaluate capital expenditure requests, conduct ROI analysis, and track project performance.
Monitor inventory valuation, turns, and obsolescence, identifying risks and opportunities.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making and business cases.
Recommended Qualifications
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Experience with cost accounting principles and variance analysis in a manufacturing environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Understanding of manufacturing operations and their financial impact.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with manufacturing cost accounting principles
Familiarity with common manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor)
Understanding of supply chain finance or operational efficiency metrics
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for operational reporting
