ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC invites candidates to join our team as an Environmental Construction Specialist, working on electric utility construction projects across the United States. This field position requires experience with environmental compliance for land clearing and linear construction, a strong outdoor work ethic, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Pay Range

Base hourly pay: $26.00/hr – $34.00/hr What We Offer

Regulatory Compliance Provide environmental compliance oversight for transmission site development and linear transmission line construction projects. Oversee compliance, inspections, and permits for NPDES and SWPPP associated with transmission capital projects. Ensure compliance with wetland access, protected species, debris disposal, site control, and soil disturbance laws. Maintain all field operations in compliance with required permits (road use, natural resource protection act, Corps of Engineers, etc.). Document pre‑ and post‑work field conditions to verify site compliance with permits and regulations and identify any mitigation or restoration needs. Field Operations Perform erosion and sediment, stormwater management, and pollution prevention inspections for applicable construction projects. Interpret complex plans and drawings. Perform duties that promote good public relations. Crew Oversight Attend pre‑construction, constructability, and status meetings as directed. Manage and oversee site development crews; oversee sediment and erosion control or BMP contractor installations per approved plan. Ensure wetland and sensitive area identification is in place and crews are aware before entering such areas. Stakeholder & Public Relations Monitor and report to Project Management on status of construction units, estimated and actual billed to date of project. Communicate daily with the utility client, contractors, landowners and the public. Subject Matter Expert Consulting Assist in developing recommendations on future right‑of‑way maintenance requirements. Additional Responsibilities

Drive a company vehicle safely to work locations for the organization. Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What You Need To Have

Associate or bachelor’s degree in environmental science, construction management, building science, or related field. 1‑5 years’ experience in site development, permitting utility construction, environmental compliance, or related field. Solid understanding of NPDES Construction General Permit (CGP), SWPPP implementation and inspections. Desire to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain. Strong public relations skills and ability to interface with the public. Willingness to work alone. Basic computer skills. Valid driver’s license. What Would Be Amazing To Have

Substantial background in electric transmission construction, pipeline, and/or utility field. SWPPP book knowledge. CESSWI (Certified Erosion and Sediment/Stormwater Inspector). Previous construction crew oversight experience. GIS experience. Strong knowledge ANSI Z133 safety standards. Military background is a plus. Bi‑lingual (English and Spanish) is a plus. Working Environment & Physical Demands

Work alone in an outdoor field environment; vehicle and foot patrol of utility power lines; remote locations as well as urban city environment. Physical demands include walking/hiking on various surfaces, exposure to noise, dust, grease, and all types of weather and temperature conditions, hazardous traffic conditions.
