We are seeking a Texas‑licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) with experience in commercial site development to join our growing team. The successful candidate will lead design efforts for commercial projects, ensuring technical excellence, quality deliverables, and strong client relationships.
Base Pay Range
$100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Typical Responsibilities
Provide civil engineering design for a variety of commercial projects, including street, water, and sewer systems. Manage project deliverables from concept through completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines. Maintain and strengthen client relationships through clear communication and responsive service. Conduct QA/QC reviews on design documents and technical reports. Collaborate with Engineers-in-Training (EITs) and CAD technicians to coordinate design tasks and maintain project schedules. Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering – Required Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas – Required Minimum 6 years of progressive civil engineering design experience, including: Water and sanitary sewer pipeline design Commercial site development and drainage General civil design for public and private projects Familiarity with local county and municipal design standards and permitting processes Experience with Hydrologic & Hydraulic (H&H) modeling software such as: HEC-HMS, HEC-GeoRAS, TR-55, HEC-RAS Knowledge of Flow Master, Culvert Master, StormCAD, InfoWorks, and XP-SWMM Familiarity with TxDOT design requirements Strong ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with attention to detail and minimal supervision Excellent technical writing skills for reports and proposals Team-oriented with a willingness to mentor junior staff Demonstrated ability to deliver work on schedule and within budget Exceptional communication, organization, and customer service skills Key Details
