We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager in our Warrenton, VA office to partner with Project Managers, multidisciplinary teams, and clients to deliver innovative, high‑quality land development solutions.
About the Role Bohler’s Warrenton, VA office seeks an Assistant Project Manager (Land Development) who is eager to grow as both an engineer and a leader. The role supports project delivery, collaborates directly with clients and municipalities, and contributes to Bohler’s reputation for technical excellence and partnership.
What You’ll Do
Support project management activities, including scoping, proposals, schedules, and resource planning.
Oversee preparation of comprehensive site‑plan packages, grading, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion and sediment control.
Coordinate permitting and entitlement approval processes with clients, municipalities, and agencies.
Prepare contracts, change orders, and client invoices while tracking financial performance.
Collaborate with clients, attorneys, contractors, and subconsultants to ensure project success.
Review concept drawings and cost estimates aligned with client objectives.
Participate in public hearings, community meetings, and professional organizations.
Mentor junior staff and share technical knowledge to promote team growth.

What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
6+ years of experience in site design and jurisdictional permitting for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and drainage software such as StormCAD, Hydroflow, or HydroCAD; skilled in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
Experience working directly with clients and project teams.
Professional Engineer (PE) license beneficial.
