Architectural Team Leader
North Little Rock, Arkansas
Garver's growing Buildings team is looking to add an experienced Architectural Team Leader in our North Little Rock office. The right candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of overall Architectural experience in efficient and aggressive project delivery methods. Strong skills in leadership, overseeing construction detailing, construction documents assembly, building component integration, specification development, engineering discipline coordination, and project communication are required.
This candidate must be able to integrate into an in-house multi-disciplinary team setting. Candidates should have extensive experience with Revit. Construction administration experience is a plus. We believe that overall project design is improved by simplifying the interaction and communication between architecture and engineering teams. The successful candidate for this position will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of architects, engineers, planners, and designers on a large variety of project types. We are looking for an architect who will be excited to join Garver in expanding our capabilities, and who appreciates blending functional requirements with aesthetic concepts.
Minimum Requirements
Leading an architectural group
Making assignments for architects and designers
Providing support for engineering clients
Bachelor's degree in architecture
Licensed Architect or the ability to gain licensure within 12 months
BIM experience – Proficient in Revit
10-25 years of architecture experience
Working knowledge of construction techniques and coordinating details
Detail oriented, extensive construction document preparation experience
Working knowledge of coordination with project engineering disciplines including structural, mechanical, electrical and civil engineering
Working knowledge of National Building Codes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in development of Opinion of Probable Construction Costs at various stages of project development.
Experience with Design-Build Project Delivery
Experience with Request for Proposal - RFP solicitations and project development
Working knowledge of Federal Design criteria.
