Job Summary The PMCM team seeks an entry‑level Field or Construction Inspector for utility infrastructure inspection in Indianapolis. The position involves verifying water service line materials for Lead and Copper Rule compliance and reporting directly to the Construction Manager.
Responsibilities
Inspect water service line materials to verify the presence of lead.
Communicate with the contractor, utility, design team and public regarding project status and address concerns.
Review field conditions, anticipate issues and coordinate with owner and contractor when conflicts arise.
Prepare daily reports and testing documentation per project requirements.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering with an interest in water/wastewater infrastructure construction inspection.
Experience: Relevant experience in water and/or utility installation inspection, knowledge of construction inspection for underground utilities and restoration.
Certifications and Licenses: EIT license for graduated engineers.
OSHA 10‑Hour Construction Safety Awareness Training preferred or required within 30 days of start date.
