Industrial Maintenance Technician IV Lead 2nd Shift

2nd Shift: 3pm-1am Monday-Friday
Base Pay: $34.50-$38.50 per hour
Duties & Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair complex electro‑mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments
Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition
Advanced understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current and resistance
Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
Advanced understanding of electrical safety and motor control circuits and programmable drives
Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues
Complete projects to add electrical circuits and controls, new equipment and relocate machines
Maintain and repair pneumatic systems including repairs of cylinders and other components
Perform simple to complex mechanical preventative maintenance tasks following instructions
Enter all work completed in computer‑based maintenance program
Monitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order forms
Adjust equipment based on statistical process control data and team with QA
Train all levels of technicians in more complex tasks and skills
Responsible for direct reports activities
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associates degree in related field, or equivalent relative experience
7–10 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of and experience with Lock‑Out, Tag‑Out procedures
Able to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality.
Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off‑hours and emergency overtime as required.
Proficient in Word, Excel, and CMMS systems
Must be willing to attend training sessions as needed, including out of state locations
Ability to train all levels of technicians
Intermediate knowledge of fabrication (e.g., welding, basic machining)
Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of intermediate troubleshooting
Able to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with employees, vendors, contractors, and suppliers
Ability to show attention to detail in a very fast‑paced environment
Bilingual is a plus. (English & Spanish)
