$18.00/hr – $36.00/hr
Shift Details 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM Occasional overtime and Saturdays

Responsibilities
Set up machinery for operation.
Verify dimensions of workpieces.
Select, position, and align dies in the machine ram and bed.
Turn setscrews or bolts to fasten clamp bars that hold dies in position.
Adjust screws to set the specified pressure of the ram and clearance between dies to the thickness of metal, as indicated by calibrated scales.
Position workpieces manually or with a crane, aligning layout marks to dies.
Detect and report defective material, unusual conditions, or faulty equipment to a supervisor.
Update travelers and input as required per job.
Maintain work and storage areas, machines, and related equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Read blueprints accurately.
Use measuring equipment (calipers and micrometers).
Troubleshoot issues.
Lead a team.
Train others in the proper use of necessary equipment.
Set goals for team members and provide support as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or 3 years of experience in a brake‑operation position.
Previous machine‑operating experience in a manufacturing facility or similar relevant experience.
Ability to interpret drawings and use solid‑works or equivalent tools.
Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and numerical skills.
Understanding of production and manufacturing processes.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations and conversions between units of measurement.
Follow written and oral instructions accurately.
Team player.
Lift heavy tooling, bend, and stand or walk for long periods.
Willingness to work in shifts, including late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary.
Experience leading a team or equivalent training.
Knowledge of 5S, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent training.
