The Job:
Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements. Take ownership to coordinate delivery of parts to expedite flow of material to meet production schedule. Execute MRB messages to push, pull, or release Work Orders and release manufacturing work orders to the warehouse for kit picking. Collaborate with appropriate teams to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met; create action plans and ensure follow‑through and completion of actions. Coordinate between warehouse and purchasing on material shortages and notify Sales of any schedule impacts to customers. Proactively coordinate or expedite manufacturing builds to ensure schedules are achieved. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Follow all policies and procedures; initiate changes to existing processes to improve overall effectiveness. Apply production and processing knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Use computer systems and software applications proficiently; in‑depth knowledge of ERP or MRP software preferred. Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; take action and bring solutions to meetings as required. Other duties as assigned to meet department and facility goals. The Person:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 5+ years of production planning experience, including 2+ years in manufacturing. Enterprise Resource Planning or Material Resource Planning experience is required. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Demonstrated experience working with the Microsoft Office suite; proficient in Excel formulas, look‑ups, pivot tables. Query capability is a plus. The Details:
