Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr
My client, a well‑established GC from the Southeast, is making a strategic expansion into the Indianapolis market with strong local connections. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with the Regional and General Managers to drive growth, oversee a robust pipeline of large‑scale projects, and help scale operations. This role offers a clear path to quickly advance into a Project Executive position, leading all Indianapolis operations.
Description The Senior Project Manager will:
Lead large‑scale healthcare, pharmaceutical, and commercial projects valued at $20M-$50M+, ensuring successful delivery from start to finish.
Collaborate directly with the President and Regional Manager to drive growth and strengthen the company's presence in Indianapolis.
Own project strategy—including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management—to keep projects on track and profitable.
Serve as the primary liaison for clients, owners, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.
Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Assistant PMs, and field teams, building a high‑performing project organization.
Oversee documentation and execution through Procore, ensuring strict adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Profile
8+ years of proven experience in commercial or industrial construction project management
Proven success managing multiple large‑scale or technically complex projects
Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and scheduling software
Strong financial acumen, contract knowledge, and negotiation skills
Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent communication and team development skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong client relationships
