Production Shift Supervisor – US Modules Lead a team of dedicated production personnel in the safe and efficient production of high quality solar modules at our College Station factory. This role requires an individual who can work independently in a methodical environment, utilizing strong leadership and technical skills to drive consistent operation of a high-volume automated manufacturing line in a safe manner. With a focus on continuous improvement processes, you will continually develop your team and drive quality and safety improvements.

Base Pay Range $65,000.00/yr – $80,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate and lead a team of production shift personnel to safely achieve production targets.

Monitor production operations and respond to hourly and daily product and process concerns.

Collaborate with various teams in troubleshooting technical problems.

Ensure employees are trained and qualified on production processes prior to working on line.

Provide leadership by setting team goals and objectives while fostering positive staff relationships.

Coordinate with other departments on projects, targets and issues to achieve company goals.

Maintain accurate production records and communicate results and issues to shift staff, support teams and management.

Implement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to establish a positive environment.

Establish and maintain work standards for product costing and productivity to meet targets.

Drive continuous improvement activities through LEAN manufacturing principles to improve overall efficiency and eliminate various forms of waste in production.

Implement and enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards that drive a safe, constructive environment focused on quality and efficiency.

Communicate established goals for performance in ways that comply with the company’s plans and vision.

Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand and are trained on their duties or delegated tasks.

Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching through regular reviews.

Complete other duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Demonstrated production supervisor experience of 5–8 years in a high-volume environment.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing philosophies.

Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Ability to work on assigned shift schedule.

Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, confidentially, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.

Excellent time and project management skills.

Attention to detail in all areas of work.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a good knowledge of quality control practices.

Ability to learn a variety of job requirements, work in a fast‑paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.

Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.

Self‑motivated with a results‑driven approach.

Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., work in a manufacturing environment, full‑time onsite.
