Vaco Phoenix is looking for an HR Generalist for a top client in the West Valley. The HR Generalist will be responsible for open benefits enrollment, onboarding, employee relations, and day-to-day HR duties. This position is fully onsite paying up to $65,000 per year. Interviews are being held this week!
Responsibilities
Address employee relations concerns and oversee performance improvement actions.
Advise leaders and staff on workplace policies and labor regulations.
Offer guidance on HR programs and performance matters.
Respond quickly to inquiries from corporate leadership and employees.
Conduct and document workplace investigations.
Review investigation findings and suggest appropriate solutions.
Prepare clear reports and summaries for leadership.
Support candidates through pre-employment steps and onboarding.
Facilitate orientation for new corporate employees.
Oversee terminations and flag potential employee relations risks.
Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws.
Represent the company during unemployment hearings.
Job Requirements
Strong problem solving, reporting, and analytical skills
Experience leveraging MS Office Suite
Superior knowledge of HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technology systems, as needed
3 years of human resources generalist or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Employee Relations experience
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
