Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team at Briar Cove in Ann Arbor, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting prospective residents through the leasing process, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the overall management of the community.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and engage prospective residents in a professional and friendly manner.
Conduct property tours and highlight community features and amenities.
Assist applicants with the leasing process, including completing applications and explaining lease terms.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community policies, procedures, and availability.
Follow up with prospective residents to answer questions and encourage lease signing.
Process lease agreements and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.
Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate records of leasing activity and resident information.
Collaborate with the management team to meet occupancy and leasing goals.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations is a plus.
Work Environment This position is based at Briar Cove, located at 650 Waymarket, Ann Arbor, MI. The role involves working in a fast-paced leasing office environment with frequent interaction with prospective and current residents.
