What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage transaction flow processes related to insurance recovery and patient pay workflows
Research and identify root causes of edits and denials in billing processes
Develop and implement error prevention initiatives to enhance performance
Coordinate with internal customers and various business units to drive improvement
Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
High school degree or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years of experience within healthcare revenue cycle
One (1) year of experience in healthcare accounts receivable billing
One (1) year of experience resolving insurance payer denials
Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize workflows
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Associate's degree or equivalent years of college education
Experience with both technical (UB) and professional (1500) billing
Familiarity with EPIC Patient Accounting System
Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience in patient billing and accounting applications
