HR Associate degree or comparable degree. 3 plus years experience as Recruiter or other HR related roles, including hiring. Experience with HRIS and ATS. Knowledgeable in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) Working knowledge of federal, state and local HR related laws. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Handle emotionally upset applicants or employees internally or externally. Successfully complete C.B.R.F certificates offered in-house. What you'll do as a Human Resource Generalist:
Work with departments to determine current and anticipated recruiting needs. Ensure recruitment plans align with departmental budgets and organizational needs. Conduct regular follow-up with managers and supervisors for effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation. Work with Marketing Department to identify and post on social and professional sites for candidates. Provide and monitor reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly) on employment and engagement metrics. Responsible for oversight of legal hiring practices, including interview questions, references and other functions related to hiring. Work with Director of Learning and Development to evaluate and monitor departmental onboarding experience. Point person for information flow between Three Pillars and recruitment partner. Partner with departments to determine current and anticipated recruitment needs. Ensure recruitment plan aligns with department budgets and meets organizational needs. Conduct regular follow-up with managers and supervisors for effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidates for recruiting. Understand employee engagement metrics for recruitment, onboarding, and retention. Maintain working relationships with colleges, tech schools, and high schools to aid in recruiting and internship opportunities. Leads partnership with departments to continuously know job openings and expectations for job. Responsible for ensuring the most efficient process to move candidates through the hiring process. Including tracking new hires, transfers, termination, and status changes. Maintain established metrics set out for time to hire. Extend employment offers and/or follow up on offers made by managers. Schedule pre-employment testing and follow up. Schedule and conduct new employee onboarding. Assign necessary pre-employment training modules. Make sure necessary C.B.R.F. certification training is completed. Conduct or assist New Employee Welcome Experience. Partner with Executive Director of Marketing & Communication to conduct stay interviews and monitoring of new employee success plan. Work with Director of Customer Experience to evaluate and monitor department orientation and onboarding experiences to support successful transition to new work environment. Communicates when necessary for HR Manager to serve as back up to hiring process Partner with HR Manager for oversight and monitoring of changes in WI Caregiver Law. Maintain adequate supply of hiring-related documents. Add/Remove individuals access to online training as needed. Partner with HR Generalist/Payroll to maintain accurate and up-to-date human resources files, records, and documentation. Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies and procedures, benefits, hiring process, confer with HR Manager on more complex questions. Provide clerical support to the HR Department. Process STD/LTD applications for staff in absence of HR Manager. Benefits & Perks
