HR Generalist/Recruiter Location: Chandler, AZ HQ

Reports To: Director of People & Culture

Salary: Full-Time, Salaried Exempt

Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 DOE

Purpose:

We are seeking an HR Generalist, with an emphasis in recruiting, to become an integral part of our growing team! As the HR Generalist, you will own the full-cycle recruiting across multiple departments while also supporting core HR Generalist functions including but not limited to onboarding, total compensation; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.

Primary Responsibilities Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

Own full-cycle recruiting for corporate, retail, creative, and operations roles at VB Cosmetics

Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, team culture, and role requirements

Create and post compelling, brand-aligned job descriptions that reflect VB Cosmetics’ voice and values

Source candidates through ATS, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, and industry-specific channels

Conduct candidate screenings and manage interview coordination and scheduling

Deliver a high-touch, inclusive, and engaging candidate experience from first contact through offer

Support offer development, background checks, and onboarding handoff to ensure a seamless new-hire experience

Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and source effectiveness

Maintain the employee culture site and social media pages with roles and culture activities

Other duties as deemed necessary by management.

HR Generalist Responsibilities

Support onboarding and new-hire orientation to reinforce VB Cosmetics culture and values

Serve as a trusted HR partner for employees, answering questions related to policies, benefits, and processes

Assist with employee relations matters, including documentation and investigations when needed

Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within HRIS and ATS systems

Support performance management cycles, employee development initiatives, and engagement programs

Assist with benefits administration and annual open enrollment

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

Participate in HR projects and People & Culture initiatives that support growth and retention

Other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Minimum Requirements

3-5+ years of relevant experience as a generalist in Human Resources & Full-Cycle Recruitment

REQUIRED

Related degree or certifications in Human Resources or Business are a PLUS

SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification are a PLUS

Hands-on experience managing full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment, including employer branding or social recruiting experience

Well versed in maintaining career sites, social recruitment, staffing agency partnership, and career/culture pages

Thorough, current knowledge of employment laws, regulations and HR best practices.
