Summary
As one of our CNC Machinists, you will be responsible for programming, setup, and operation of CNC machinery to produce parts to print. Job Functions
Program, setup and operate, Fanuc, Fadal, Haas, Siemens and Heidenhain CNC machines Write G and M Code Operate air tools and various other power tools Operate 5- and 10-ton overhead crane and drive a forklift Read and interpret blueprints Utilize CAD software to view 3D models at workstations Identify potential problems with designs and work with engineers to find solutions Perform tasks that include, but are not limited to, milling, turning, drilling, tapping and deburring Machining tooling, components, and parts required per specifications Maintain clear working area and perform assigned machine maintenance as required Understand, adhere, and machine accurately to print tolerance and finish requirements Perform in-process checks as required Select and setup optimal tooling for different machining operations Work overtime when needed Requirements
Skilled with use of calipers, micrometers, and depth mics Good working knowledge of converting decimals and fractions Comfortable using Windows PC Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds occasionally Experience with Fusion 360 or BobCAD v27 a plus Must have strong work ethic, be dependable, honest, and responsible Experience with CNC machine operation Experience with manual machine operation Excellent working knowledge of machining processes and in-depth understanding of tool and die manufacturing Technology
