Construction Management - Electrical and I&C WPO (Life Sciences) – Cary/Wilson, NC
Join Jacobs as a Work Package Owner (WPO) for advanced manufacturing facilities in the Life Sciences sector.
Base Pay Range $134,500 - $215,000 per year
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules.
Lead contractors and superintendents for construction execution, ensuring adherence to engineering documents.
Oversee EI&C scopes from Bid Phase through Execution, turnover, and closeout.
Monitor project budgets to ensure requirements are met.
Coordinate constructability reviews, client meetings, and design coordination.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Engineering or equivalent experience.
20+ years as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager.
Experience managing Life Science/Pharmaceutical production facility construction.
Strong knowledge of pre‑design, building systems (EI&C, Delta V, BMS, Medium Voltage), contract management, and delivery methods.
Expertise in EI&C systems including Delta V and BMS.
Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Bluebeam.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work with Engineering and Subcontracts to develop bid packages.
Preferred
Pharma experience.
