MFG MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, mechanical repairs, inspection, and testing of plant equipment. Maintain plant performance in Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR) and implement Kroger Manufacturing High Performance Work System principles.
Minimum Qualifications
18+ years old, strong attention to detail, high accuracy.
Proficient mechanical knowledge in electrical, welding/fabrication, utilities, and basic PLCs.
Team player, reliable, dependable, self‑motivated with minimal supervision.
Basic computer skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience in food manufacturing, GMP knowledge.
2+ years maintenance mechanic or relevant technical training/certification.
Hands‑on machine tool operation (lathe, grinder, drill press, milling).
Strong troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance support.
Clean work area, material handling safety, work order documentation.
Support plant initiatives, meet regulatory and company requirements.
