STS Technical Services is hiring an experienced
A&P Licensed Aircraft Inspector
to support aircraft maintenance and inspection operations in
Waco, Texas . This role is critical to ensuring airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and overall quality performance across aircraft maintenance activities.

Position Overview The Aircraft Inspector is responsible for performing preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections of aircraft and aircraft components. All inspection activity must comply with current technical data, Airworthiness Directives, FAA-approved practices, and internal quality standards.
This position reports to the Chief Inspector and or Director of Quality and provides continuous oversight to ensure regulatory compliance and proper maintenance execution.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and document preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections in accordance with approved data and regulatory requirements
Maintain working knowledge of inspection methods, techniques, equipment, tools, and inspection aids related to assigned tasks
Ensure all inspection equipment and tools are properly calibrated and clearly labeled with current calibration dates
Interpret and apply specifications involving tolerances, limitations, and airworthiness requirements
Properly complete, review, and execute inspection and maintenance records prior to return to service
Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free of foreign object debris
Monitor maintenance activities to verify work is performed in accordance with company standards, manuals, and regulatory requirements
Immediately report deficiencies, discrepancies, or quality concerns to the Chief Inspector or Director of Quality
Verify only properly trained and authorized technicians perform, sign, or stamp work cards
Maintain continuous oversight of maintenance activities on assigned lines to ensure compliance with the Repair Station Manual and Safety Manual
Ensure all materials and parts are allocated to the correct job and project numbers
Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
Perform additional duties as assigned by quality leadership
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of aircraft maintenance and inspection experience
FAA certificated mechanic in accordance with FAR Part 65
Strong working knowledge of FARs, DFARs, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Bulletins
Hands‑on experience and working knowledge of Boeing 767, 747, 737 and or Airbus A340, A330 aircraft preferred
Demonstrated attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and quality
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
