About the Role Profitable, stable, and growing government contractor seeking a
Senior Accountant
to own the monthly close and core accounting operations. This is a high-ownership role offering day-to-day autonomy while partnering directly with the CFO for guidance, mentorship, and strategic development.
Key Responsibilities
Own month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
Prepare accurate financial statements and management reporting
Support FAR- and DCAA-compliant accounting practices
Assist with billing across FFP, T&M, and Cost-Reimbursable contracts
Support labor charging, indirect rates, and audit readiness
Maintain and optimize accounting processes in Unanet
What We’re Looking For
4–8+ years of GovCon accounting experience
Strong knowledge of FAR and DCAA compliance
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA/CMA a plus, not required
