Your Key Responsibilities A Senior Analyst in FSO EDGE State & Local Tax will deliver tax compliance and consulting work for clients, resolving issues promptly and ensuring accurate completion. Responsibilities include:
Analyzing complex tax operations to provide business insights
Identifying potential opportunities and risks and communicating them to clients
Researching current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor
Developing clear plans to improve clients’ tax activities
Building relationships to tailor advice to client needs
Working collaboratively with a motivated team of professionals
Maintaining technical knowledge through continuous learning
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline, or graduate degree in Tax or Law
Progress toward CPA or Enrolled Agent license
At least 3 years of work experience in professional services or a tax organization
In-depth knowledge of automated tax processing systems and relevant laws
Strong collaboration, negotiation, and confidence to challenge senior stakeholders
Commitment to continuous learning
Ideal Additional Qualifications
Understanding of state and local partnership tax
Proficiency in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with return preparation software
Experience working with diverse teams
Adaptable work style with both internal and client teams
