Overview
Representative, Specialty Leasing at Simon Property Group Responsible for locating, evaluating, and developing specialty leasing tenants and income‑generating opportunities for shopping center properties. Negotiate lease agreements, support in‑line leasing, and coordinate program administration across multiple properties. Location: The Mills at Jersey Gardens. Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and develop specialty leasing tenants for common area and inline vacancies. Maintain relationships with prospective tenants and existing mall tenants; network with leasing representatives and industry associates. Support in‑line leasing efforts by identifying potential permanent tenants and assisting in tenant set‑up. Negotiate lease agreements, submit tenant information, and achieve assigned financial goals. Ensure maximum occupancy and minimal downtime; monitor rent collection, income transmittals, and lease administration. Submit weekly reports on deal making, forecasting, and program implementation status. Coordinate administrative duties with Mall Managers and Property Management staff; monitor property and Home Office income and expense reports. Assist in merchandising and visual presentation standards for specialty tenants. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline. 1–2 years of general business, sales, leasing, or retail experience. Basic math and accounting skills. Well‑developed interpersonal, negotiating, and communication skills. Resourcefulness, creativity, and design principle awareness. Some overnight travel may be required. Benefits
