We are seeking a
Cost Accounting Manager
to lead our clients' finance and cost accounting functions. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with deep expertise in job costing, standard cost analysis, and operational finance within a manufacturing or project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of
cost accounting , including job costing, standard costing, variance analysis, and overhead allocation.
Analyze cost drivers and manufacturing data to identify inefficiencies and drive
cost reduction initiatives .
Lead
process improvement
projects across departments to enhance gross profit, transaction accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Support
ERP implementations
and maintain data integrity in financial systems.
Develop and deliver
training programs
for accounting staff and cross-functional teams.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end
financial close
processes.
Provide strategic support for
budgeting, forecasting , and performance analysis.
Ensure
GAAP compliance
and strong internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA preferred).
7+ years of progressive experience, with at least 3 in a Controller or senior cost accounting role.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
