About the Role We are seeking an experienced Lead Associate, Compensation to join our team as an advanced individual contributor. This role serves as a Compensation Business Partner and provides expert guidance and consultative support on compensation programs across multiple divisions. This position requires strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of compensation principles, and the ability to influence decisions through data-driven insights. This role will focus on complex problem-solving, market benchmarking, and compensation modeling to ensure competitive and compliance practices. While this role does not have formal people management responsibilities, the incumbent may mentor junior team members and will collaborate extensively across HR and our business.
Key Responsibilities
Own the market pricing process, including survey participation, job matching and data analysis.
Conduct complex compensation, benchmarking and market analysis to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
Provide recommendations to influence compensation decisions and align with market trends.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the Business, Finance, Legal, and Human Resources to understand their needs, solve business challenges and ensure successful design and deployment of all compensation programs.
Analytics & Compliance
Deliver high-impact compensation analyses and modeling to support business decision-making
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to pay programs.
Prepare dashboards and reports for HR & business leadership to inform strategic decisions.
Business Partnership & Leadership
Provide consultative support to HR Business Partners and managers on compensation practices and policies.
Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline compensation processes.
Mentor and support junior team members or analysts as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, Finance, or a related field (master’s preferred).
Minimum of 7 years of progressive compensation experience with advanced analytical skills.
Strong understanding of compensation principles, market benchmarking, job evaluation, and pay equity analysis.
Proven track record of managing multiple projects at the same time.
Proficiency with HRIS and compensation tools and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear compensation guidance.
Excellent business acumen, judgement and strong orientation with collaborative style.
CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) preferred certification.
