Arkansas Children’s, in partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric surgeon at the assistant or associate professor level. Successful candidates will join the state’s only pediatric health system and play a key role in shaping the future of children’s health in our region.
Surgery Program & Position Highlights Join a dynamic team at Arkansas Children’s Northwest in Springdale, Arkansas, of four surgeons and numerous advanced practice providers and specialty nurses, providing nationally ranked and recognized care to patients statewide and regionally. Other highlights include:
Join the division of pediatric surgery, with a priority for expanding surgical care services to match growing patient acuity
Nationally accredited pediatric transport program, emergency and surgical services
Comprehensive specialty and primary care
Arkansas Children’s Research Institute, which provides infrastructure for clinical and basic science research

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Successfully completed general surgery residency
ACGME-accredited pediatric surgery fellowship
ACGME-accredited surgical critical care fellowship
American Board of Surgery certified or eligible in General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery
Strong interest in growing a clinical practice
Commitment to research, resident and fellow education and surgical quality
