Reporting to the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition, the Sr. Clinical Recruiter collaborates with corporate, regional and hospital management to forecast and amend hiring needs based on organization goals. Following all applicable laws, regulations and Oceans Healthcare standards, partnering with hospital administration and regional leadership to ensure that candidates presented and hired embody the Ocean’s six and have the skills to complete the main job responsibilities. Partner with the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition on managing the full cycle recruiting process, which includes sourcing, screening, phone and in-person interviews, assisting in the evaluation of final candidates, creation of offer letter to candidate and organizational onboarding.
Essential Functions
Steward a positive end-to-end candidate experience (sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and onboarding) and ensure it follows best-in-class practices and enthusiastically communicates the employment value proposition, reflects the brand and is an engaging candidate experience.
Collaborate with Sr. Director Talent Acquisition to deploy recruiting and sourcing strategies that identify and secure a highly talented workforce and scale to support the organization’s continued growth.
Maintain ownership of daily, weekly, and monthly recruiting analysis reports to provide ongoing enhancement to the Company’s current staffing and recruiting processes.
Proactively build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and repeat positions to quickly meet future talent needs.
Post open positions ensuring compliance of the applicant tracking system and review applicant resumes. Screen and send qualified resumes to hiring managers.
Complete face-to-face and phone screening interviews, assist managers with identifying top candidates to interview in person; complete reference checks; assist with pre-employment background checks and onboarding activities.
Proactively research innovations and best practices in sourcing and recruiting.
Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis via Excel and other software platforms; create and deliver recruitment and onboarding presentations that speak to both HR and non-HR audiences.
Provide a heavy emphasis on Clinical and Nurse recruitment, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational and Licensed Practical Nurses, and Therapists.
Responsible for other duties as assigned.
Educational / Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
3+ years of human resources related experience in a recruiting role.
Agency Experience Preferred.
Qualifications / Skills
Proven success delivering recruiting results in a fast-paced, demanding, high growth environment.
Direct sourcing expertise utilizing a range of methods and approaches.
Strong customer management skills with ability to build trust and credibility with both candidates and hiring managers.
Team-oriented with ability to partner with and build upon the strengths of others to meet overall goals.
Experience in healthcare or related industry preferred.
Heavy experience with the Microsoft Office Suite; ability to put together presentations within Excel and Power Point with ease.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Work Environment
Subject to many interruptions; pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries.
Can be high paced and stressful; must be able to cope mentally and physically to atmosphere.
Requires spending approximately 90% or more of the time inside a building that offers protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
May be required to travel for meetings.
