Purpose and Scope The Manager, Dual Credit provides strategic leadership for college readiness, dual credit, and Early College programs. This role oversees the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that prepare K-12 students for success in higher education. The Manager is responsible for managing staff and resources to ensure program effectiveness, maintenance of campus relationships with K-12 partners, and program alignment with institutional goals. Additionally, the Manager serves as a liaison to various LSC departments to meet program objectives.
Essential Job Functions
Provides leadership and direction for the planning, design, administration, and evaluation of the dual credit program, ensuring alignment with the college's goals and vision
Develops and maintains student services and instructional support for high school partnerships, including dual credit, Early College High Schools, and Home School programs, ensuring their alignment with institutional priorities
Oversees the enrollment process for dual credit students and ensures practices and procedures are aligned with college expectations and priorities. Manages student financials processing for dual credit students receiving third‑party funding
Collaborates with Deans and department chairs to resolve implementation issues at the high schools; collaborates with Student Services and Business Office staff to develop efficient processing of dual credit student enrollment requests
Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates department staff; delegates responsibilities, provides clear guidance, establishes priorities, and sets deadlines to ensure the timely and efficient completion of work
Works closely with high schools and other internal and external partners to develop, interpret, and implement policies and procedures for the dual credit and Early College High School programs
Oversees the organization of campus visits for high school students, counselors, dual credit faculty, and other ISD personnel; manages college's dual credit events at high school including information sessions, application days, and student registration events
Develops and communicates procedural changes that align with partnership goals; represents the college at ISD functions and LSCS meetings
Oversees selection of promotional items for purchase for dual credit program events
Maintain program compliance with college, SACSCOC, state and federal policies
Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned

Physical Abilities The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
Work Schedule & Conditions
PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment
Internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
Work is performed in a climate‑controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Salary Hiring salary range is $54,528 – $62,708. The salary offer within this range will be determined by related experience and education at the time of hiring.
