PURPOSE AND SCOPE The Manager, School Partnerships and Dual Credit - CyFair manages staff and/or resources to provide specific program or service offerings to internal or external stakeholders. The Manager provides leadership and support in the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive dual credit, early college education, or college preparatory programs. Leads, develops and implements activities to raise college awareness of the importance of higher education for students in grades K-12, their parents/guardians and community members.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provides leadership to plan, design, administer, communicate, and evaluate all aspects of the Dual Credit and College Readiness program for the college that align with strategic goals of the college; includes the facilitation of the crosswalk process and collaboration between ISD's and Instruction. Areas include but are not limited to: Home School, Dual Credit, other associated College Readiness programs.

Develops and maintains instructional support for high school partnerships, including dual credit, early college education, P-16 Initiatives, college readiness and awareness, and home school students. Determines gaps, monitors SACS compliance, and develops and implements programs in response to community needs. Collaborates with Deans and department chairs to resolve implementation issues at the high schools.

Selects, trains, evaluates and supervises department staff; assigns responsibilities, gives directions, prepares schedules, and sets deadlines and work schedules to ensure timely completion of work.

Develops, interprets, and implements all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to college readiness services, while working collaboratively with independent school districts, TEA, parent groups, community groups, social services, businesses, colleges and universities. This includes processes related to ensuring the college is meeting SACSCOC and Coordinating Board requirements are met to support dual credit and college prep.

Assists schools in developing individual partnerships with colleges and universities that have dual credit agreements with LSC; Initiates and negotiates all articulation agreements between LSC and ISD.

Evaluates the enrollment for all area high schools and manages the processes utilized for registration, enrollment, and qualifying for dual credit courses for public/private schools for compliance and data reporting; Ensures all legal contracts/agreements are current and complete for LSC service area private/charter and public school districts.

Supervises the collection and segmentation of reports including a population analysis used in determining the targeted recruitment efforts, enrollment trends, and presentations on enrollment, demographic, and other related data. Maintains a system and database for tracking prospective students, from initial contact through enrollment.

Acts as a liaison with the Student Services staff to help coordinate training and development for faculty, staff, and administrators at high school campuses, SACSCOC offsite locations in the areas of recruitment, admissions, and testing as to develop forms and guidelines for the Dual Credit and Early College Education Programs.

Coordinates the monitoring of dual credit class sections, course textbooks, POI and ePars for counselors and learning support personnel on the high school campus; Investigates dual credit concerns and issues to resolve with the school partner and/or college administration.

May actively participate as an LSC representative on various committees, meetings, and conferences.

Participates in the strategic planning process by making recommendations for new and/or revised policies and procedures. Supports the College enrollment management goals for recruitment, enrollment, and retention of students, including enrolling a more diverse and inclusive student body.

Oversees compliance items related to Dual Credit Plus 18 Partnership.

Leads professional development meetings for secondary school teams requiring experience in training facilitation and adult learning strategies.

Develops innovative pilot projects that offer partnership opportunities between public schools, private schools, &/or community partners to support community and school needs.

Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

WORK SCHEDULE & CONDITIONS

PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment

Internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position

Work is performed in a climate‑controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

SALARY Hiring salary range is $67,746 – $77,908.
