Location and work arrangement The New York City office of a global investment firm is looking to hire a Human Resources Generalist. This is a hybrid role with 4 days/week in the office and 1 day/week working remote.
Role overview The ideal candidate will have experience with selecting, implementing and integrating HRIS systems, or redesigning onboarding processes. In addition, this person will also be engaged with recruitment efforts, employee termination, payroll and benefits, and company policy and procedure adherence. You will build strong relationships with our company's managers to help them with their human resource needs.
Responsibilities
Oversee full-cycle of recruitment efforts
Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding, and employee termination processes
Assist with payroll and benefits administration
Assist with the assessment, implementation and integration of a new HRIS system
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and legal responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, or related area
7+ years' of experience working in Human Resources (financial services industry experience strongly preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with Greenhouse and Handshake is a plus
HRIS experience
