Overview
Sr. Financial Analyst
– Renaissance Life & Health Insurance Company of America, Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid). 1 position. Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management reports, Board documents, and reporting for outside partners. Support annual budget and forecast. Maintain financial reporting systems. Analyze and report on premium/revenue and direct expenses focusing on trends and variances. Communicate cost and expense variances; compile cost accounting reports and collaborate on cost containment initiatives. Build and maintain dashboards and reports to deliver financial insights. Compile information for audits and regulatory filings. Streamline financial processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness. Provide financial guidance to project teams and coordinate work without direct authority. Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed. Train/cross-train as needed; demonstrate flexibility by assisting with tasks outside primary responsibilities when needed to support team success. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy. Proficient in Excel and financial modeling. Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and/or Vena a plus. Independent and collaborative work skills. Capability to resolve problems and use independent judgment. Ability to present financial data to non-financial audiences. Organizational and multitasking skills; manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Technical Qualifications
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Minimum 5 years in financial planning and analysis or similar role. Technical aptitude in Excel, financial systems, and data visualization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Strong data management capabilities. Experience with financial/ERP systems (e.g., Hyperion, Peoplesoft). Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI/Fabric, Tableau). Base Salary Range
