BSEt, LLC (BSEt), a subsidiary of Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX), a Washington-based defense contractor, is recruiting for the position of Range Training Officer. This full‑time, regular position is located at Shaw AFB, SC, and reports to the Site Manager.

Job Description This position involves applying technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions. The role works under the guidance of a supervisor or higher‑level technician and the work product is audited for accuracy. Typical duties include operating and maintaining the Air Combat Training System (ACTS) and associated computer equipment, assisting with producing debriefing materials, verifying accuracy of information received, and applying comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting instructions, manuals, or similar documents.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Interface with Government representatives for site‑specific support issues, including scheduling, planning, and exercise coordination.

Attend scheduling meetings and conferences to ensure required support.

Develop, manage, and distribute, in coordination with Wing Weapons and Tactics (OSS/OSK), Exercise and Mission Planning documents such as Air Order Directive (AOD), Air Tasking Order (ATO), and Special Instructions (SPINS).

Create, identify, and track Desired Learning Objectives (DLOs) for each exercise and nominate mission sets/targets to satisfy the prescribed DLOs and drive training scenarios.

Coordinate with the intelligence squadron to schedule threat RTOs to be on site for the LFE based on their tactical emitter game plan.

Perform RTO duties, including air‑to‑air and surface‑to‑air scenarios in accordance with the latest Air Force Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures.

Create live/constructive scenarios and monitor scenario progression to ensure threats are operating in accordance with local guidance and scenario‑specific plans.

Provide debrief information regarding threats and RTO results.

Routinely update RTO materials and procedures, maintaining in‑depth knowledge of the latest AFTTPs regarding RTO, air‑to‑air, and surface‑to‑air weapons employment.

Coordinate with off‑site units for operations support and debrief coordination.

Travel to other locations for short durations for regional exercises and/or subject‑matter‑expert support, as required.

Assist with development of daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.

Other tasks as required in coordination with the Site Manager, OSS/OSK, and BSEn Intelligence Specialist/Mission Planner.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum bachelor’s degree; master’s degree highly desired.

Five (5) years of verifiable leadership experience.

Rated mission expertise as an Aircraft Commander or Weapons System Officer in fighter aircraft, or relevant Air Battle Manager/Weapons Director expertise (F‑15/F‑16/F‑18 highly desired).

Eligibility for a Top‑Secret U.S. Security Clearance in accordance with Director Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 1/14.

Ability to work full‑time (40 hours per week).

Additional Requirements

U.S. citizen.

Ability to speak, read, and write English.

Valid driver’s license.

Willingness to travel in support of ACTS contract obligations.

Conversant with the following publications and subjects:

AFI 11–202V3 – General Flight Rules

AFI 11–214 – Air Operations Rules and Procedures

AFI 11–2MDS – aircraft‑specific flight rules

AFMAN 13–212 – Range Planning and Operations

Fluent in technical aircraft and electronic terminology.

Proficient in preparing and presenting written and oral presentations and reports.
