Job Overview BSEt, LLC, a subsidiary of Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX), an Alaska Native Corporation, is currently recruiting for the position of Electronic Technician, Maintenance II/Backfill. This is a Full‑Time, Regular position located in Volk Field, WI. The position will report to the Site Manager and supports training and exercise requirements for U.S. Air Force, Joint, and Coalition flight training operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain Air Combat Training Systems (ACTS) and associated equipment.
Support ACMI debriefs, P5 data merging, and DRD programming.
Ensure mission data sheets are supported/facilitated.
Ensure system operability and support debrief operations.
Maintain all debriefing equipment and software upgrades.
Prepare data for debriefings and assist with debriefings.
Schedule and perform periodic, preventive, and corrective maintenance on all assigned equipment including ancillary equipment.
Respond to notifications of malfunctioning systems, troubleshoot and repair to restore the Ground Subsystems to full functionality.
Conduct inventories and maintain accountability records for Ground Subsystems, including ancillary and support equipment.
Ensure proper use and handling of COMSEC material if required.
Assist with pod transport, loading and unloading if required.
Perform periodic preventive visual AS/Pod inspections as applicable.
Perform system installation, preparation for use and re‑shipments.
Identify and report corrections/improvements to technical data and product quality/material deficiencies.
Perform equipment status reporting and maintenance data/job documentation.
Prepare and deliver all reports and required documentation.
Ensure compliance with BSEt Quality Control and Safety Programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science desired.
Four (4) years of experience operating computers and peripherals; college education may substitute up to two years on a year‑for‑year basis.
Accredited IAT I (A+) in both hardware and software required or must be obtained within six months.
Accredited IAT II (Network+ or Security+) highly desired.
Additional Requirements
U.S. Citizen with Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one required.
Valid driver’s license.
Physical ability to assist in lifting, maneuvering, and carrying ACTS/ACMI pods in various environments.
Anticipated travel 25–40%.
Competencies
Demonstrate basic and some advanced technical knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, interpret circuit diagrams, and utilize test instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, voltage and frequency meters, and computer control equipment.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
