As the Community Outreach & Program Support VISTA, you’ll manage a centralized outreach calendar, coordinate trainings, and support crisis response protocols. You’ll update the prevention curriculum, help create an elementary program, and improve feedback and referrals to strengthen services. Member Duties
Develop and implement systems that increase community coordination, including a centralized outreach calendar to manage all community trainings and presentations, and a standardized crisis response protocol to provide consistent communication to partners when urgent issues arise.
Collaborate with staff to update the existing prevention curriculum and develop a new elementary school–focused prevention curriculum, ensuring that all materials are accurate, age appropriate, evidence-based, and accessible to diverse audiences.
By the end of the service year, strengthen program evaluation and participant support by updating pre- and post-test feedback forms to measure knowledge gained in presentations, identifying participants who may need services, and improving referral protocols and follow-up procedures to ensure consistent and equitable case management for all participants.
