What this job can offer you
The Finance Systems Data Analyst provides crucial support to the Finance organization by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of financial data across SAP and Snowflake.
Bridging finance, data engineering, and business intelligence to optimize data flows, automate reporting, and enable better financial decision‑making.
What you bring
Experience as a finance or data systems analyst.
Experience with dbt or similar analytics‑engineering framework.
Experience integrating SAP data into Snowflake.
Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting/visualisation tools.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and reporting requirements.
Experience with Python or DBT for data automation.
Exposure to SAP S4 Hana and relevant finance modules (FI, CO, AR, AP, GL).
Hands‑on experience with Snowflake and advanced SQL for data modelling.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Integration
Maintain, validate and reconcile SAP (FI/CO, AR, AP, GL) and Snowflake data.
Transform and model data in dbt.
Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering for timely ingestion.
Finance Systems Support
Support finance users troubleshooting SAP and Snowflake dashboards.
Participate in system upgrades, migrations, or automation projects.
Reporting & Analytics
Develop and maintain P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and KPI dashboards using SQL and BI tools.
Translate business requirements into data queries and visualisations.
Deliver ad‑hoc analysis and insights to Finance leadership.
Process Improvement
Identify and automate manual finance data processes.
Contribute to data governance frameworks.
Support digital transformation initiatives.
