Blue Chip Talent , in partnership with a leading automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled
HR Manager . This role is responsible for overseeing site-level HR operations, driving talent strategies, and ensuring compliance and engagement across the workforce.
Job Duties
Partner with plant leadership to align HR practices with business goals
Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations and conflict resolution
Manage union-related activities, contract negotiations, and grievance processes
Ensure adherence to all employment laws and internal policies
Develop and implement training programs to address skill gaps
Monitor HR metrics and deliver actionable insights
Support corporate HR projects and process improvements at the site level
Skills & Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing environments
Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience managing HR programs across multiple functional areas
Master’s degree or HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
Experience working in unionized environments
Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies
Knowledge of collective bargaining and labor compliance
