About The Position The HR Generalist provides support for day-to-day operations related to human resources, including employee relations, recruiting & onboarding, benefits & leave administration, and payroll in accordance with company policy. A successful HR Generalist will build sustainable relationships with employees, site leadership, and corporate office, and will provide guidance on policy application, applicable laws, and best practices.
Functions
Provide counseling and coaching to employees and management regarding employee relations matters and application of company policies, programs, and benefits.
Recommend and administer OFI or corrective action plans; ensure forms are completed per policy and in compliance with applicable laws.
Administer applicable company and/or site policies, programs, and benefits and act as a liaison with corporate to facilitate change management; conduct training as necessary.
Act as a liaison for employee programs and benefits (e.g., health, 401(k), performance management, incentives); coordinate benefit meetings during open enrollment.
Ensure new hire and termination paperwork is processed and employee data is current and accurate within the system of record (e.g., UltiPro) and maintain proper employee files in accordance with policy and law.
Participate in the maintenance, development, and implementation of policies and procedures.
Perform recruiting duties for all non-exempt staff and liaise with temporary agencies as necessary; create job advertisements, interview, and select candidates.
Complete onboarding functions for new employees, including system onboarding (UltiPro), orientation, and coordination of new employee training.
Perform routine reporting functions as needed to support the business.
Act as an advocate for other company programs and initiatives based on site needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred or equivalent years of experience required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources with progressive duties around employee relations, recruiting, benefits, compensation, and/or training.
Prior experience in warehousing, third‑party logistics, and/or distribution centers preferred.
Experience in a leadership role and/or managing others desired.

Travel Requirements
Position is expected to travel approximately 25% or less.
A passport is not required, but recommended.
