Position Summary Provide clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention and resource mobilization for families and children who have complex psycho‑social and emotional needs in a multi‑disciplinary pediatric hospital setting. Pediatric social workers provide these services to children 0‑18 years of age and their families. This position is intended for a strong LGSW social worker who may occasionally work in tandem with the on‑site LICSW social worker while providing services hospital wide.

Qualifications

License/Certification/Registration : Minnesota State LGSW, LICSW preferred

Education : Master’s degree in social work required

Experience :

Experience providing crisis intervention

Two years of experience with counseling in a health‑care related setting or two years of experience in a pediatric related setting or completion of a graduate internship in either of the above settings

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

Knowledge of community resources

Ability to provide good, clear documentation of work

Compensation and Benefits The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market.
