Position Summary Provide clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention and resource mobilization for families and children who have complex psycho‑social and emotional needs in a multi‑disciplinary pediatric hospital setting. Pediatric social workers provide these services to children 0‑18 years of age and their families. This position is intended for a strong LGSW social worker who may occasionally work in tandem with the on‑site LICSW social worker while providing services hospital wide.
Qualifications
License/Certification/Registration : Minnesota State LGSW, LICSW preferred
Education : Master’s degree in social work required
Experience :
Experience providing crisis intervention
Two years of experience with counseling in a health‑care related setting or two years of experience in a pediatric related setting or completion of a graduate internship in either of the above settings
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Knowledge of community resources
Ability to provide good, clear documentation of work

Compensation and Benefits The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on‑call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
