Senior People & Culture Generalist

to join our team and serve as the main People & Culture partner for the organization, supporting a positive, compliant, and engaging employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. This position blends strong HR fundamentals with a modern, people-first mindset and partners closely with leadership to support day-to-day people operations and strengthen best practices.

Key Responsibilities

People Operations & Compliance:

Lead and support daily People & Culture operations including employee records, benefits administration, leaves, HRIS maintenance, and compliance documentation.

Culture & Engagement:

Support and reinforce a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture aligned with company values.

Leadership Partnership:

Serve as the primary People & Culture partner to leaders and employees across the organization, providing guidance on policies, practices, and people-related decisions.

Employee Relations:

Partner with leaders to support performance management, coaching conversations, employee concerns, and conflict resolution.

Benefits Administration:

Coordinate benefits enrollment and employee communications related to benefits and People & Culture programs.

HRIS & Reporting:

Maintain accurate, confidential HRIS data and prepare people metrics and reports to support leadership decision-making and compliance needs.

Office Manager Oversight:

Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the Office Manager, helping prioritize work and align administrative and people-related processes.

Process Improvement & Projects:

Identify and support improvements to people processes, policies, training programs, and engagement initiatives.

Cross-Functional Support:

Collaborate with leadership and other teams to support organizational initiatives and workforce needs.

What We’re Looking For

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.

Experience:

3–5 years of experience in a People & Culture, HR Generalist, or People Operations role, ideally in a small to mid-sized organization.

People & Culture:

Demonstrated experience supporting and influencing workplace culture, employee engagement, and people practices.

HR Fundamentals:

Strong working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.

Autonomy:

Comfortable serving as the main People & Culture resource for the organization, independently managing day-to-day HR operations while partnering with leadership.

Leadership Exposure:

Prior experience providing guidance, support, or informal oversight to another employee is preferred.

Systems:

Experience using HRIS platforms (Paylocity is a plus) and preparing reports or metrics.

Strong communication, sound judgment, organization, and follow-through; takes initiative, solves problems, and looks for ways to improve processes; thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
