to support enterprise-level network security and infrastructure initiatives for a long-term government engagement in
New York, NY .
The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on expertise in firewalls, routing, high-availability network design, and deploying secure, scalable network solutions. Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior staff are essential.
Required Experience
7+ years
administering and engineering enterprise firewalls.
7+ years
implementing security features such as Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, and SSL Decryption.
7+ years
working with firewall management systems.
7+ years
with intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
7+ years
configuring routing and encrypted tunnels between remote sites.
7+ years
developing and deploying
BGP
routing solutions.
7+ years
implementing high-availability network designs and failover configurations.
7+ years
producing technical documentation, including:
Network diagrams
Change documentation
Orders of operation for network tasks
7+ years
implementing and integrating
Cisco LAN/WAN
solutions.
7+ years
configuring and installing routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
7+ years
hands‑on with LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, switching, and routing protocols.
7+ years
mentoring and supporting junior technical staff.
Fortinet NSE Certification
(required).
Compensation: $53.61 per hour
