WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN ANALYST - F5 NETWORK ENGINEER Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with networking technologies, specifically switches, routers, and resolving complex LAN/WAN issues
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field
OR
equivalent combination of education, professional training, or experience
Active Security+ CE Certification (or higher) with one or more of the following active network certifications: Network+, CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA-Junos, JNCIS-ENT
Active Secret Clearance, with Top-Secret Clearance (preferred)
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Arista
Experience with TACACS, Radius (ACS/ISE)
Knowledge of SNMP, Syslog, ACLs, VLAN, Routing, and Switching
Network issue resolution skills
Experience with network monitoring tools such as NetScout, InfoVista, etc., to isolate issues
Ability to assess and optimize network performance
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR ANALYST - F5 NETWORK ENGINEER As an Analyst - F5 Network Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimize networking performance to ensure operational efficiency. You will work closely with both government customers and end-users to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop monitoring processes tailored to complex systems. Your role will involve the development and execution of test plans to assess technical performance, as well as the configuration and customization of monitoring systems to evaluate infrastructure availability and user experience.
You will regularly analyze traffic, monitor device health, and identify potential performance issues or bottlenecks. Additionally, you will provide detailed reports, recommendations for improvements, and ensure that policies for standardizing systems and monitoring software are communicated and enforced.
