This position supports both residential and commercial projects, working closely with Field Managers and Finishers to ensure proper installation, alignment, and surface preparation for taping, texturing, and painting. Supervisory Responsibilities None
Essential Job Functions
Install, repair, and prepare drywall panels, framing, and backing surfaces according to specifications.
Cut, fit, and fasten drywall boards using appropriate tools and fasteners.
Assist Finishers by taping seams, applying first coats, and sanding surfaces as directed.
Mix and apply joint compound, adhesives, or coatings under supervision to ensure proper consistency and coverage.
Inspect surfaces for alignment, quality, and code compliance prior to finishing.
Safely set up and work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts in accordance with OSHA standards.
Protect nearby fixtures, flooring, and equipment during installation or repair work.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain job‑site organization and schedule compliance.
Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in clean, safe condition.
Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and reporting procedures.
Other related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience And Training
High‑school diploma or equivalent (GED, college, technical, or trade‑school transcript, foreign equivalent, etc.).
Previous drywall installation or construction experience required; on‑the‑job training available for motivated candidates.
Familiarity with drywall tools, materials, and measurement techniques.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Working Environment And Conditions
Work performed in indoor and outdoor settings across residential, multifamily, and commercial projects.
Exposure to varying temperatures, including extreme heat (above 90 °F) and cold (below 32 °F), dust, and construction noise.
Requires standing for long periods, climbing ladders or scaffolding, reaching, kneeling, stooping, or crawling as needed.
Must be able to lift or carry materials and tools weighing up to 75 pounds.
Frequent use of hands and arms to handle tools, materials, and controls.
May require flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on project needs.
