We are seeking a seasoned and motivated Permanent Quality Engineer to join our dynamic and fast‑paced manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This role requires a hands‑on approach, keen attention to detail, and a strong commitment to excellence. With a focus on continuous improvement, the Quality Engineer will be instrumental in driving our quality management systems and processes. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of APQP, PPAP, IATF, FMEA, and problem‑solving methodologies.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to support new product launch and manufacturing processes. Coordinate and manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation to meet customer requirements. Ensure compliance with International Automotive Task Force (IATF) standards and other industry‑specific regulations. Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Drive problem‑solving efforts related to quality issues; investigate root causes and implement effective countermeasures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is maintained throughout the product lifecycle. Monitor and evaluate internal production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions. Conduct regular audits, generate reports, and provide recommendations to management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within the manufacturing industry. Demonstrable experience with APQP, PPAP, IATF, FMEA, and problem‑solving methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Strong knowledge of quality management systems and process improvement techniques. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using quality-related IT systems and software. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification would be an advantage.
