MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Update of the Robusta coffee trading position
Maintain and reconcile of the European coffee trading position across exchanges.
Monitor and update delta exposure, VaR, and hedge ratios for the trading book.
Input and validate trades in internal systems and confirm with Trade desks and counterparties.
Investigate and resolve position or P&L breaks with risk control and accounting.
Support mark-to-market valuations and end-of-day reconciliation processes
Produce daily and weekly P&L and exposure reports for the trading desk.
Monitor adherence to internal risk limits (VaR, position, and stop-loss).
Support the traders with ad hoc analysis (price movements, spreads, arbitrage differentials).
Act as a bridge between traders, logistics, finance, and risk control teams.
Ensure smooth communication between front, middle, and back office.
Participate in continuous process improvements and system automation.
Maintain and follow the Daily & Monthly P&L
Placing fixation orders from both suppliers & customers on the future market
Contract entering and revising on company informatics system
Various reporting
Assisting Traders + Origin companies
Various administrative tasks
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree, maturité professionnelle orequivalent.
2 years of work experience in trading (soft commodities) risk management, or treasury operations are assets
Possession of a valid work permit in Switzerlandor European citizenship is required.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Strong understanding of
futures, options, and FX markets .
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and team orientation
Agile and flexible mindset, reactive to requests, and use to work under pressure
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Good knowledge with
Excel
(pivot tables, macros preferred)
Mathematical and logical mindset
Proficiency in spoken and written English and French is required
Spanish or other language knowledge is an asset
