From 12 strategic locations in Northwest Europe, Triferto supplies over 1.2 million tons of products annually to agricultural professionals in more than 60 countries. That is why there is room for an entrepreneurial Export Manager who, together with the team in Ghent, will help realize the company’s international potential.
Role
Build on existing customer relationships and actively explore new market opportunities worldwide.
Attract new customers and distributors, with a focus on growth regions such as Africa, Central America, and Asia, and develop your own customer portfolio.
Negotiate skillfully on quotations, prices, and delivery terms, ensuring smooth, customer-oriented service.
Work closely with colleagues in logistics, supply chain, and product development to guarantee optimal product availability.
Represent Triferto at international trade fairs.
Report directly to the Director of Export.
Profile A commercially minded, internationally oriented team player.
Requirements
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in commerce, logistics, agronomy, or equivalent through experience.
Affinity with or experience in agriculture.
Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages (French, Spanish, etc.) are a plus.
Preferably several years of experience in (internal) sales within an international B2B environment. If you don’t yet have experience but are eager to take on an international sales role, we are also open to talking with you.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Strong communication skills; able to switch easily between cultures.
Team player who can also manage projects independently.
Results-oriented, reliable, and customer-focused.
Ambitious and curious about international market dynamics.
Location Zwijnaarde (Ghent, Belgium), with 1 day of home office and approximately 10% international travel.
