Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Group Leader position at Tampa Bay Girls Academy in Tampa Florida

Tampa Bay Girls Academy - Secure is comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving high-risk and max-risk females' youth aged 12-21. These programs provide services utilizing evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling.

What you will do: The supervisor is operationally responsible, through the work performed by Senior Coach Counselors, Coach Counselors and Night Coach Counselors, for the safety, care and around-the-clock supervision of students in the program. The Group Leader’s supervisory duties may also include authority and or participate in decisions to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, promote, discharge, assign, evaluate performance, reward or discipline other employees or responsibility to direct them. The Group Leader exercises his/her authority on a daily basis through direction and supervision of both students and staff in order to meet expectations of the services provided. The Group Leader typically reports to the Unit Manager, but supervision may vary by individual location.

To be considered you should:

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Be at least 21 years of age

Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test

Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
