The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Mattawan region seeking IT Managers. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and endpoints across manufacturing facilities. Oversee the support, integration, and optimization of manufacturing-specific systems (e.g., MES, SCADA, ERP). Ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems to minimize production downtime and ensure operational continuity. Develop and implement cybersecurity measures to protect operational technology (OT) and intellectual property. Lead IT strategic planning, budgeting, and project management aligned with manufacturing objectives. Manage IT vendor relationships, procurement, and service level agreements for manufacturing-critical systems. Implement and maintain IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans for production environments. Recommended Qualifications Experience managing IT infrastructure and operations within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with manufacturing-specific IT systems (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA, PLM). Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles for both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. Proven track record in IT project management, vendor management, and budget oversight. Ability to lead and develop an IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments, including SCADA, PLCs, and industrial control systems. Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and common manufacturing ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Infor). Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity (ICS/OT security) best practices. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles and how IT can support continuous improvement initiatives.
