Key Responsibilities
Ensure the reliable operation and availability of IT and OT systems supporting manufacturing production.
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, workstations, and shop floor devices.
Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect both corporate IT and industrial control systems (ICS/OT).
Oversee IT support services, resolving technical issues for office and production personnel efficiently.
Lead the planning, implementation, and integration of new manufacturing-related software (e.g., MES, ERP) and hardware solutions.
Manage IT vendor relationships and procurement, ensuring cost-effective solutions and service level agreements.
Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans tailored to manufacturing continuity.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing-specific IT systems, including ERP, MES, SCADA, and industrial IoT solutions.
Demonstrated leadership in managing IT teams, projects, and strategic technology initiatives.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance requirements relevant to operational technology (OT) environments.
Ability to align IT strategy with manufacturing business objectives to drive efficiency and innovation.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with specific manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor)
Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) and IT/OT convergence
Experience with Industry 4.0 initiatives (IoT, AI/ML, predictive maintenance)
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS/OT security)
