An established organization is seeking an experienced
Senior Systems Administrator
to support and enhance enterprise IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for the stability, security, and performance of on‑premise and cloud‑based systems and will play a key role in infrastructure planning, operational support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day‑to‑day administration and lifecycle of servers, virtualization platforms, cloud environments, and supporting infrastructure
Support and maintain Active Directory services, including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and authentication mechanisms
Apply security patches, system updates, and infrastructure enhancements across environments
Design, implement, and maintain system monitoring, alerting, and reporting solutions
Identify, remediate, and proactively prevent system and security vulnerabilities
Provide on‑call and after‑hours support for production systems as required
Participate in infrastructure planning, annual budgeting, project scheduling, and application roadmap initiatives
Ensure systems remain compliant with internal standards, licensing requirements, and applicable regulations
Work closely with third‑party vendors and technology partners to evaluate and implement solutions
Maintain, test, and document disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise systems administration
At least 3 years of hands‑on experience supporting virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper‑V, Citrix, Nutanix, or Linux KVM
Strong experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and enterprise email systems
Experience administering Microsoft 365 services including Intune, Autopilot, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online
Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
Experience supporting Linux‑based systems
Proven troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize workloads, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Preferred Technical Experience
Windows Server operating systems
Oracle Linux and Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager
Enterprise storage solutions
Backup and disaster recovery platforms
